An international celebration of women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry — a movement to recognize the impact they have on our industry.
Each year, registered teams brew beer and participate in Collaboration Brew Day, donating portions of the proceeds of their sales to help fund scholarships that support the Pink Boots mission to assist, inspire, and encourage the professional development and education of women and non-binary individuals in our industry. It is our largest annual fundraising event.
✨ 5.1 ABV 24 IBU. Back on March 8th the ladies of Ghost Note along with @craftprideaustin teamed up for this year’s @pinkbootssociety brew day. We brewed a Kolsch-style beer which is a classic German style that is a hybrid between an Ale and a Lager. We utilized the Pink Boots blend of hops from @YakimaChief in the boil, whirlpool, and dry-hop. Expect an aromatic and flavorful riff on the style that maintains the light and easy-drinking crispness of a traditional Kolsch with the aromatic punch from the additional hops. We get aromas of lemongrass, cantaloupe, and bubblegum with a cracker-like malt character and a quenchingly crisp finish.
Dry-hopped Farmhouse Beer 7.8 ABV 18 IBU. For this batch of Neighborwood, our Foeder-aged mixed culture farmhouse beer, we dry-hopped it with the 2023 Pink Boots hop blend from @yakimachief hops. The base beer’s dry finish is softened by the hop oils and the rustic funk from the mixed culture is punched up with aromas of pineapple and honeydew melon.

Hazy Fruited IPA is packed with 🥭 mango, tangerine & papaya 🍊 flavor from a combination of the Pink Boots 2023 Hop Blend of Loral®, Ekuanot® and HBC 586 and a ton of mango & tangerine purée! This beer is thick! Unique to most IPAs, we used a westmalle Belgian yeast from woman-owned @communityculturesyeastlab for added complexity.
Using the 6th annual Pink Boots Blend of hops from Yakima Chief Hops, this hoppy lager has strong citrus and mango notes with a clean, crisp finish allowed by the cold lagering process. Brewed by the women and friends of Bold Republic Brewing Company on March 8 in observance of International Women’s Day. Proceeds go towards funding the Pink Boots Austin chapter that empowers women in the brewing industry in Central Texas.
Brewed with the 2022 Pink Boots blend of hops (Loral, Ekuanot, HBC 586) ,and true to our style, this Pilsner is a crushable springtime beer. I’m drinking one right now and I keep interrupting this caption because I need another sip!

VELVET VALKYRIE 2.0 is a mostly bright IPA made with base malt, pilsner, and a modest addition of white wheat malt added to the mix. This year’s recipe features a more classic, ultra-clean finishing IPA formulation – a bit more assertively bitter than last year’s hazy – which highlights the flavors of the 2023 Pink Boots hop blend. Grapefruit, tangerine and other citrus flavors and aromas initially dominate, with mild floral and earth tones appearing on the back end.
This cider was blended with specialty hop varietals blend curated by Pink Boots and then infused with fresh Lucy Glo apples and Dragon Fruit.
Lucy Glo Hopped Cider will be taproom, draft-only exclusive but will be available for to-go growlers purchase! $1 of each pint of Lucy Glo Hopped Cider sold goes back to support the local Austin, TX Pink Boots Society Chapter
Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day is a celebration of women and non-binary individuals within the industry. All participating breweries develop a unique recipe with the selected Pink Boots hop blend. Given the significance of this organization and beer, we decided to brew something previously unbrewed at Meanwhile and venture into the unknown with a Fruited Hefeweizen.
A nice counterpoint the HighBoy Pink Boots Blend Double IPA

Pretty In Pink was created with Pink Boots Society in mind – pink in color, bold in flavor. Brewed with Texas-grown Pilsner malt, Texas-grown Sonora Raw Wheat, and flaked oats, and dry-hopped with Pink Boots/Yakima Chief Hop Blend. Second-use tart cherries from Stonefruit, the fourth installment of our Underground Cave-Aged Series, impart tart and fruity notes and a cherry aroma in this light mauve beer.
Pretty In Pink is releasing on draft in the taproom on February 18!
Back for its second year, this will be part of their Highboy series, available in cans and on draft.
This Highboy with a cause was brewed in March during Women’s History month. To celebrate diversity in beer, we partnered with the Pink Boots Society to brew a double IPA using the proprietary Pink Boots hop blend created in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops. This year‘s blend uses 5 different hops bursting with citrus and tropical fruit aromas and a unique bubble gum flavor.
